New Bike/Pedestrian Bridge Over Sand Creek

This new Bridge parallels the Bridge Street Bridge to City Beach.  Bridge Street was one of the most dangerous and congested areas in town for both bikes and pedestrians.  The new bridge, finished in 2007, was completed with an ISTEA grant to the City of Sandpoint.  This bridge will connect all of Sandpoint to the soon to be finished Sandcreek Byway Trail in 2012, and eventually the Pend Oreille Bay Trail to the cities of Ponderay and Kootenai.
