Jim Hunt Trail

North Idaho Bikeways helped Ponderay obtain a separated bike path (the Jim Hunt Trail) with a$15,000 grant, as part of the widening project for Kootenai Cut Off Road.(2004). With the future construction of the Ponderay North 95 Bike Trail, this trail will connect to Sandpoint and beyond.
