Long Bridge Underpass to Lakeshore Drive (Jim Kerr Trail)

North Idaho Bikeways, Inc. paired up with the Idaho Transportation Department to obtain an ISTEA grant to build an underpass under the south end of the Long Bridge to connect  the Sagle-Sandpoint trail to Lakeshore Drive.  This junction of Lakeshore Drive and Highway 95 was a dangerous intersection of bikers and pedestrians.  It was built in the summer of 2007 at a cost of $405,000 and dedicated in November of that year. A true life saving accomplishment!
